The Creation & Presentation Network (C & P) of World Dance Alliance Singapore (WDAS) is proud to announce Singapore Dance Week 2011 which will be held between May 21st and May 28th 2011. The primary aim of this event is to celebrate Dance – the joy and the many possibilities that it offers. We also hope that it serves in creating a stronger sense of fraternity in the dance community and wider Singapore society.
The week long celebrations will open with “Dance Singapore Dance!”, an exciting event that we hope will get Singaporeans of all ages and walks of life to enjoy Dance. This will be followed by a full week of dance happenings in various parts of the island in schools, community centres, dance studios, dance institutions and other performance spaces. Singapore Dance Week will close on May 28th 2011. WDAS is working in close collaboration with the Singapore National Arts Council in giving form and fruition to this idea.
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to be a part of Singapore Dance Week 2011. There are numerous ways in which you could be a part of this exciting celebration of Dance. We offer just some of the possibilities:
